What I Did Last Weekend

My cousin, Wendy, got married last weekend in gorgeous Newport, Rhode Island*. I took a ton of pictures- at one point I was pressed into being "the family photographer," which, to be clear, I had not signed up for (and by that I mean I never intended to act as such: see the poorly posed/positioned and egregiously lighted "official family photos"). And man, was it windy. 

Anyways. Be prepared. Lesson learned.

To tease the wedding photos, I could drop a picture of the people I love or the gorgeous scenery- instead, here is a shot of the sleeper highlight of the weekend:

*Sharon (who was unfortunately unable to attend) and I had joked that we toured the Southeast while we lived in Birmingham, but now, thanks to my job and this wedding, I am quickly making a tour of the Northeast- actually, Northeast North America, since I've been to Halifax and am heading to Quebec City next week and Toronto next month.
