September 29 - I heard via social media that my favorite band, The Legendary Roots Crew, was having a free concert at the USS Intrepid this evening. Sharon was working late, I had no other plans... so I set out to try for some tickets after work. Once I got to the Intrepid and saw the line snaking around and around, I decided to take some shots around NYC. Got off a few interesting ones before it started raining - tried steady-handing some long shutter presses:

October 29: Heather and Devon* came for a visit, so we did our best to show 'em around the town! These are a few shots taken from the NY Harbor Cruise:

November 13: Sharon, um, exhorted me to get my butt off the couch and take in the beautiful fall colors of Central Park. And so I did. Actually, I ended up spending a lot of the good-light-time standing around watching some kids play soccer (I really wanted to do some candid-action shots, but I didn't want to be mauled by parents), but I did manage to capture some of the beauty of our backyard Central Park.
