We took a weekend visit to Chicago this past weekend. I'm using photos taken during this trip for my Week 2 "52 Project" selections. The theme of the pictures appears to be "Fun with Shutter Speeds":
We visited the Willis (nee Sears) Tower's "Sky Deck" and took some shots of the Chicago night. This was sort of an accidental picture with flash that usually bombs with the lighting and the situation- but this somehow produced (what I think is) a great picture of my pretty wife.
Taken on the "L" platform while waiting for the train. Slowed the shutter speed in an attempt to catch the falling flurries against the "Guard Against Fires" sign.
Took these shots outside of the Millennium Park Skating Rink. Played with the shutter speeds to try to catch some moving skaters while maintaining detail on more stationary subjects (buildings in the first shot, guy on phone in the second).
