memory lane

Quick-hit thoughts before I get to the point:
1. Leash laws. We need leash laws for the wild roaming packs of obnoxious children, threatening the public consciousness and sanity.
2. 24 feels about the same as 23. Just a day older, really.

There are strolls down memory lane, and then there are roaring drag races down the one-way country lane that is Memory Lane...

Someone posted videos of my college a cappella group's performances onto Youtube... We were a very very new group (we started up during my sophomore year) and also the first Christian a cappella group. It's a little weird being a Christian a cappella group on a decidedly non-Christian campus... it's also a little awkward when you're a little rough around the edges :-P

I loved this group. I helped found it, and I poured more into it than even I thought I ever would. I was always a little wary that we could have been better than we were, but it was also a lesson in trusting that we were doing our best and glorifying God as best as we knew how.
